Door steps delivery of Public Services

If you have required any public service like Caste Certificate, income certificate, Driving license etc then good news for you. Now it is possible without going any department office. The state government of Delhi has approved a new scheme for providing easily public service. The scheme will be known as Door steps delivery of Public Services. Under the scheme, the state government will provide public service by the request from the phone; the government representative will collect the physical document and submit the document to the relevant office. The Delhi assembly approved the scheme on 16 November 2017. The service will be started within two or three months.

Covered Services under Door steps delivery of Public Services

The scheme will cover 40 public services of eight departments of Delhi Government in the first phase. After the successfully running the service 30 more services will be included. Under the scheme, government will provide such services  Caste certificate, income certificate, ration card, domicile, duplicate RC, change of address in RC, old age pension, handicap pension, driving license, marriage registration, transfer of ownership of vehicles, new water connection, new sewer connection, Birth certificate, Death Certificate and many other public service.

How will Service be provided?

The state government will set up the call center for People who want to avail the facility the service has to make a call and registered their details. The representative will come the client home at the client fixed date and time. The representative will call as mobile Sahayak. The client has to pay a nominal fee for the service. The mobile sahayak will come with all necessary machines such as camera, biometric machine. They complete all formalities and collect the physical document. After the verification and collection of documents, the mobile sahayak will provide the service in timely at your doorsteps.

The state government will hire private form for proving the service and set up a call center. The scheme will end the long queue outside the government office for getting the service. This is one of the unique services across the country.
